Mike Peppe Invitational, Columbus OH
The
Coffman YMCA Swim Team had a
fantastic
travel
trip to Ohio State University to compete
at the Mike Peppe Invitational over the
Fourth of July weekend.
Over the
weekend our team had 6 team records
broken. Sarah Ford got her
first Long
Course National cut in the 1500 Free,
with a time of 18:43.98. Emily Slabe got
two more Long Course
National cuts in the 200 Back (2:35.64)
and the 100 Back (1:12.05) All swimmers
who competed received life time best in
various events through out the 3 day
invitational.

Our team
placed 20th out of 29 teams.
Congratulations to all CFY Swimmers who
competed.

Irish Aquatics Invitational, South
Bend IN
The Coffman
YMCA Swim Team had 8 swimmers travel to
The University of Notre Dame over
Memorial Day Weekend to compete in the
Irish Aquatics Invitational.

Over
the weekend, there were 6 team records
broken. Daniel Deysher broke the 11-12
boys 100 Free (1:11.13) and the 200 Free
(2:30.85). Katie Deysher broke the 13-14
girls 200 Breastroke (2:53.10). Emily
Slabe broke the 11-12 girls 100 Fly
(1:18.70) and the 200 Backstroke
(2:43.10) while Alyssa Wolfe broke the
11-12 girls 200 Breastroke (3:20.71)
Katie
Deysher won the 13-14 girls 200
Breastroke and broke the team record by
8 seconds. Congratulations to Katie and

IMX Challenge, Cincinnati OH
The Coffman YMCA Swim Team had a great
weekend at the IMX Challenge May 9-11 at
the Keating Natatorium in Cincinnati.
Katie Deysher qualified for Long Course
nationals in 50 Breastroke.

Emily
Slabe won the IMX Challenge for 11 year
old girls. She won 50 and 100
Backstroke, and was second in the 200 IM
for the 11-12 age group.
